Position Summary

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Product Manager to lead digital transformation initiatives that modernize operations, enhance customer experiences, and drive business growth. In this role, you will be a key player in reimagining legacy systems and processes by implementing innovative digital solutions that align with the company's strategic goals.

 

You will function as a product owner for critical transformation programs, collaborating with business stakeholders, technology leaders, and external partners to build scalable, user-centric platforms that deliver measurable value. This role will collaborate closely with Consumer Services, Marketing, IT, Operations, and others as needed to manage the overall digital portfolio.

Salary range for this position is $119,078.70 - $139,216.74 with a progressive benefit package.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Performs essential duties and responsibilities in the following areas which may include but are not limited to those listed and are subject to change.
  1. Adheres to the Credit Union's core values and Service Standards in conducting GreenState's mission and vision.
  2. Demonstrates a positive member service (internal and external) focus at all times.
  3. Demonstrates teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities.
  4. Ensures confidentiality of member information.
  5. Supports a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  6. Partner with stakeholders to identify pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities for digital innovation.
  7. Lead cross-functional teams through the entire product lifecycle—from discovery and MVP definition to enterprise rollout and continuous improvement.
  8. Translate complex business requirements and user feedback into clear product requirements, user stories, and success metrics.
  9. Evaluate and integrate new technologies (e.g., cloud platforms, AI, automation tools) to drive operational efficiencies and improve user experiences.
  10. Champion change management and user adoption strategies in collaboration with training and communications teams.
  11. Track and report on product KPIs to measure success and drive data-informed decisions.
  12. Help define and establishes the vision, strategy, and 3-year roadmap in conjunction with the SVP, Digital Transformation & Payments for GreenState’s digital products of the future that will enable innovative and meaningful digital relationships and interactions with members to help them achieve financial wellness and support the growth and efficiency of the credit union.
  13. Develops product features by collaborating with technology, digital, design, and subject matter experts across IT, Operations, Member Experience, Marketing, Consumer Services, Legal/Compliance, and other applicable areas.
  14. Works to improve channel convergence and strive for consistent member experience across channels.
  15. Reviews and recommend new methods and procedures to make daily digital banking operations more efficient.
  16. Owns and proactively identify issues and drive resolutions end-to-end.
  17. Drives innovation. Proactively anticipates future developments and member needs; creates and ensures effective implementation of strategic new programs or products for digital banking services. Acts as a product thought leader.
  18. Develops learning plans and coordinates with Training, Marketing, and Department Heads to inform and train employees on key Digital products and services.
  19. Interacts specifically with Marketing to define and deliver strategic and operational management of website and mobile, including web content development and management for all member-facing systems including text, blogs, and multimedia.
  20. Develops and enforces Digital Standards for the cooperative, e.g., platform requirements for new vendors.
  21. Maintains effective relationships and ensure quality service is provided by third party processors and technology partners.
  22. Builds and maintains relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
  23. Keeps informed of new developments or ideas in the industry through reading relevant articles/publications, visiting other companies and digital providers, attending conferences, etc.
  24. Ensures compliance with credit union policies and federal regulations.

 

Job Requirements/Expectations

  1. 10+ years of product management experience, with a strong history in leading digital transformation or enterprise modernization projects.
  2. Deep understanding of digital ecosystems, enterprise platforms, and emerging technologies.
  3. Experience collaborating with IT, operations, finance, and other key business units on complex digital initiatives.
  4. Strong business acumen with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  5. Proficiency in Agile methodologies, user research, and product discovery techniques.
  6. Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar enterprise platforms.
  7. Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
  8. Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and other key constituents.
  9. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  10. Ability to create relationships and collaborate effectively with internal employees, outside contacts, and membership.
  11. Passion for innovation.
  12. Strong organization skills.
  13. Experience developing business cases.

 

Reporting Relationship

Reports to the Senior Vice President / Digital Transformation and Payments.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position is not responsible for the supervision of others.
