Position Summary

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY:

POSITION SUMMARY:

Assists in implementation, programming, system maintenance, integrations, and training for business systems and technology solutions across multiple business units related to our lending platforms. Collaborates and assists with department operations across multiple business units. Responsible for creating, evaluating, and distributing various reports on multiple systems.

Salary range for this position is $79,173.90 - $92,563.38 with a progressive benefit package. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performs essential duties and responsibilities in the following areas which may include, but are not limited to those listed and are subject to change:

  1. Adheres to the Credit Union's core values and Service Standards in conducting GreenState's mission and vision.

  3. Demonstrates teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities.
  4. Ensures confidentiality of member information.

  6. Adheres to all state, federal and credit union regulations, policies and guidelines.
  7. Assists in the setup, implementation, management, programming, training, modification, troubleshooting and ongoing administration of departmental systems and technology solutions.
  8. Supports efficient and effective troubleshooting by diagnosing and resolving system related issues promptly with urgency.
  9. Identifies opportunities for automation and able to automate repetitive tasks via the use of scripting or other mechanisms.
  10. Provides technical solutions to resolve problems and enhance our lending practices via the use of SDK, API, scripting, Power BI or other solutions.
  11. Assists in the management, implementation, troubleshooting, and ongoing administration of thirdparty platforms to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  12. Programs custom work and writes reports as well as stays up to date on emerging technologies and integrates them into our lending platform.
  13. Provides staff support to reasonably ensure departmental systems meet regulatory compliance and internal policies, tracking changes when needed.
  14. Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills required.
  15. Solicits regular feedback from staff on ideas for tools, efficiencies, and ideas and works with management or other departments to implement changes.
  16. Communicates process changes, enhancements, and modifications - verbally or through written documentation - to management, peers, staff, and other employees so that technology issues and solutions within departments are understood.
  17. Conducts research, review, and analysis of the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and develops strategies for enhancements.
  18. Assists in creating, modifying, and removing user access for various departmental systems.
  19. Acts as a point of contact for technical issues related to the loan origination system.
  20. Provides technical support for team and departmental meetings.
  21. Creates, modifies, and maps custom documents in departmental systems necessary for the operation of those department and/or to reasonably ensure compliance.
  22. Provides support and assistance during internal, state and federal audits and examinations.
  23. Supports management with business system needs in the implementation of new products and services as well as ongoing support of current products and services.
  24. Conducts training on software/new systems for the organization as needed.
  25. Acts as IT advocate across various departments.
  26. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements/Expectations

  1. College degree in relevant field (STEM major or MBA preferred) or equivalent work experience in related field required.
  2. Knowledge of the Software development lifecycle required.
  3. Minimum 3 years of system administration, IT or related experience required.
  4. Flexibility in work schedule to meet business needs. May require hours outside traditional work schedule, including evenings and weekends, during peak periods or to support critical initiatives.
  5. Working knowledge of PC hardware, software and systems; SQL script; reporting tools; technical aptitude; and a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
  6. Accuracy and attention to detail required with a basic understanding of statistical analysis.
  7. Interpersonal skills to represent the Credit Union in a positive way during member and vendor contact.
  8. Ability to provide quality service to co-workers, vendors and members by phone or in person.
  9. Ability to deal tactfully and efficiently with employees, members and co-workers in a professional manner.
  10. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and outside vendors.
  11. Ability to prioritize assignments and organize work efficiently, to handle large volumes of details.
  12. Ability to communicate with members of multiple departments regarding their software needs and tailor systems and train accordingly.
  13. Must be bondable.

Reporting Relationship

This position reports to the Systems Administration Manager.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position is not responsible for the supervision of others.
