Position Summary

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Private Banking Relationship Manager plays a key role in delivering advanced financial solutions and strengthening relationships with high-net-worth members. This position manages a substantial portfolio, serving as a trusted point of contact to understand member goals and provide tailored guidance across investment, credit, and estate planning needs. The role ensures exceptional service through proactive collaboration with internal partners and contributes to initiatives that enhance private banking programs and member experience.

Salary range for this position is $121,149.60 - $141,637.86 with a progressive benefit package. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Performs essential duties and responsibilities in the following areas which may include but are not limited to those listed and are subject to change.
  1. Adheres to the Credit Union's core values and Service Standards in conducting GreenState's mission and vision.
  2. Demonstrates a positive member service (internal and external) focus at all times.
  3. Demonstrates teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities.
  4. Ensures confidentiality of member information.
  5. Supports a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth members to understand their financial goals and deliver personalized solutions.
  7. Provide tailored financial guidance and connect members with appropriate products and services, including investment strategies, credit solutions, and estate planning resources.
  8. Manage and grow a substantial portfolio of high-net-worth accounts, ensuring exceptional services and proactive engagement.
  9. Identify opportunities to deepen relationships and expand wallet share through consultative conversations and needs-based solutions.
  10. Collaborate with internal partners to coordinate delivery of products and services and support cross-selling initiatives.
  11. Build and maintain effective partnerships across business lines to ensure seamless service for members.
  12. Participate in initiatives that enhance private banking programs and member experience; provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements.
  13. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to support member needs and maintain competitive offerings.
  14. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to private banking activities.
  15. Assess member risk profiles and apply established guidelines to recommend appropriate solutions and mitigate risk.
  16. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements/Expectations

Education & Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Master's (MBA or similar) degree preferred.
  2. Five to seven years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or financial services.

Skills & Competencies

  1. Proven track record in client relationship management and business development.
  2. Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with highnet-worth clients.
  4. In-depth knowledge of investment products, Insurance, and credit solutions.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Reporting Relationship

This position reports to the SVP Wealth & Premier Banking.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position is not responsible for the supervision of others.
