The Assistant Branch Manager will be an On-site leader for member sales and service. Assists branch manager in the planning, directing, and organization of the daily operational activities of the assigned branch. Provides leadership, motivation, and direction to branch staff through coaching and mentoring employees to strive to meet and exceed sales expectations. Responsible for leading, directing, and mentoring sales and service teams to achieve branch outcomes. Provides personalized, professional service to all members in an exceptional manner, seeking out opportunities for additional business. Actively seeks out personal and organizational involvement opportunities within community.

Salary range for this position is $80,550.86 - $94,173.30 with a progressive benefit package.
Open Availability: Monday-Friday 8am-530pm Saturday 8am-12:30pm
Performs essential duties and responsibilities in the following areas which may include, but are not limited to those listed and are subject to change:
1. Adheres to the Credit Union Service Standards in conducting GreenState's mission and vision.

4. Sales - Supports high sales expectations by promoting all retail products and services.
5. Assists Branch Manager in overseeing and managing branch staff with functions such as HR, audit, facilities, training, and project assignments with the region.
6. Acts as part of a cohesive team, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with other employees.
7. Assists Branch Manager in implementation or routines, tactics, and strategies to support achievement of goals and reinforces policies and procedures to comply with fundamental business and credit union priorities.
8. Assists in monitoring and reporting branch activities in key performance areas, as requested.
9. Takes initiative to mentor, guide, and direct staff to proactively maximize sales activities/ opportunities related to consumer deposits, lending, investments, and all other services available to our membership.
10. Promotes the professional development of branch staff through individual and group training.
11. Responsible for efficient operations through continued assessment and improvements.
12. In conjunction with the Branch Manager, works to train, develop, and coach a successful sales and service team by holding employees accountable to established sales and service goals.
13. Performs all aspects of MSR position. This includes the ability to accurately balance a cash drawer daily and a firm understanding of all credit union policies and procedures for cash handling, check handling, and identification.
14. Helps drive enthusiasm and performance during promotions, contests, and other departmental activities to support team goals.
15. Conducts periodic sales and service performance with branch staff, either independently or in conjunction with the Branch Manager.
16. Acts and leads in the absence of the Branch Manager.
17. Plays a vital role in enriching the community by participating in community service organizations and/or Credit Union sponsored events.
